TeamMates at Bennington Public Schools is an approved school activity designed to increase the support and academic success of identified students. TeamMates pairs a student who has demonstrated potential with an adult who is volunteering. The two meet once weekly at school, during school hours. The role of the mentor is to be a friend, a guide, and someone who can offer support and advice to a student to help that student work toward a successful high school experience and beyond. TeamMates exists throughout the Bennington Public Schools and elsewhere in the state of Nebraska.
